On November 27, 2025, the MTS2026 Storage Industry Trend Seminar, hosted by TrendForce Consulting, was grandly held. Hefei Kangxinwei Storage Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kangxinwei"), a domestic provider of embedded storage control chips and solutions, participated in the exhibition, showcasing its self-developed eMMC5.1, small-sized eMMC, UFS series core products, and domestically produced storage solutions. It showcased its technological breakthroughs and industrialization achievements in the consumer, industrial, and automotive industries, injecting new domestic momentum into the development of the storage industry in the AI era.

     

As one of the few chip design companies in China with the ability to independently develop core IP, hardware SOC, firmware, and system full stack, Kangxinwei's exhibited products embody the three core advantages of "high performance, high reliability, and wide adaptability".


Star products make a brilliant debut

The star exhibit eMMC5.1 embedded storage chip became the focus of the scene, with a capacity covering 8GB to 256GB. The product has fast read and write speeds, supports HS400 high-speed transmission standards, and has reached the industry's advanced level in terms of running speed and post production smoothness; Strong reliability, with functions such as power-off protection and bad block monitoring, greatly improving product stability; Excellent error correction ability, adopting advanced algorithms, and ranking at the forefront of the industry. The product can be widely used in fields such as smartphones, smart TVs, tablets, boxes, projectors, wearable devices, robots, automobiles, and AI computing edge devices; The product has completed various adaptation certifications for mainstream platforms such as MediaTek, Ziguang Spreadtrum, Huawei HiSilicon, Jingchen Technology, Ruixin Micro, Quanzhi, and Yizhi.

New product launch creates a glimpse into the future

In response to the demand for miniaturization and low power consumption of wearable devices, Kangxinwei also exhibited small-sized eMMC and UFS products. The compact design and low-power performance of small-sized eMMC make it suitable for terminal products such as AI glasses and smart watches.

      Among them, the UFS series products are also highly regarded, supporting new features such as Write Booster, DeepSleep, and Performance Throwing Notification, with a transfer speed of up to 23.2Gbps and supporting flash storage capacities from 256GB to 1TB, suitable for various scenarios such as smartphones, drones, and in car electronics.

     

High end storage expansion plan

It is reported that Kangxinwei has started to layout UFS3.1 products. Regarding the next research and development focus, Vice General Manager Su Junjie stated that Kangxinwei will focus on two major directions: "performance" and "ecology". In the development of UFS3.1, priority will be given to tackling "high energy efficiency ratio optimization under multi-channel architecture" and "ultra-low latency control technology", aiming to enable the next generation of products to better meet the stringent power consumption requirements of high-end mobile phones and other devices while providing higher transmission rates.

   

At present, Kangxinwei is vigorously expanding the market for robot memory and industrial control grade memory. Taking the cooperation with an advanced industrial robot manufacturer in China as an example, Su Junjie specifically explains two major challenges: firstly, the new generation of collaborative robots needs to read and write massive amounts of environmental and motion data at high speed in real time and without interruption, which requires extremely high stability and durability of the memory; Secondly, the industrial site environment is complex and harsh, with electromagnetic interference and extreme temperature changes. This requires storage products to meet the ultimate standards of anti-interference, wide temperature adaptability, and data reliability that far exceed those of consumer grade products.

Based on this, Kangxinwei provides industrial grade eMMC embedded storage module solutions. This solution is equipped with the company's self-developed main control chip and firmware, which significantly improves data integrity and product reliability in complex electromagnetic environments and frequent power outage risks by strengthening LDPC error correction algorithms, adding power outage protection (PPL), and bad block monitoring management core technologies.

      During the exhibition, Kangxinwei conducted in-depth discussions with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain on cutting-edge topics such as inventory computing collaboration and domestic ecological co construction through physical product displays, scenario based demonstrations, and one-on-one business negotiations. In the future, the company will continue to focus on the field of integrated circuit storage, increase research and development investment, expand high-end tracks such as automotive grade and AI computing power storage, promote scientific research achievements from laboratories to production lines, and work with global partners with an open and cooperative attitude to jointly break through industrial technology bottlenecks and help promote the high-quality development of the domestic storage ecosystem.
